Journowireki currently uses a first-party browser local-storage entry to remember your cookie-consent decision. This prevents the consent notice from being shown repeatedly after you have made a choice and enables the site to respect that choice on later visits in the same browser.

At present, the site does not operate optional analytics, advertising, targeting, social-media tracking, or other optional third-party cookie providers. 5. First-party and third-party technologies

8. How the consent manager works

When the consent notice is displayed, all non-essential categories are off until you make a decision. You can accept optional categories, reject them, or make a customised selection where categories are presented. Rejecting optional categories is available on equal terms to accepting them. Your decision is stored in ng-cookie-consent-v1 so that the site can respect it.

The Cookie settings button in the lower-left corner of the site reopens the choice panel. You can use it at any time to review, change, or withdraw a previous optional consent. Withdrawing consent affects future use of the optional category from that point onward; it does not automatically erase information previously processed where retention is otherwise lawful or technically required. At present, no optional providers are active, so a change of optional preferences does not activate an existing analytics, advertising, social-media, or functional provider.

9. Browser controls and practical consequences
